We can show the world. Healing is possible.

Imagine a world where doctors and therapists prescribed a sitcom, reality tv series, or podcast with their treatment plan.

A streaming network where you can go to watch content that would help you heal. What if therapists said “watch Mission Driven Storytelling” as homework between sessions? Doctors promoting specific content when they hand out their Zoloft script. Imagine Hulu or Netflix but with a mission to heal. Content designed in a creative hub of psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers. Colleagues who stand behind each other’s theoretical approach and the latest in relational neuroscience, relational dynamics, communication skills, and regulation techniques. True macro level trauma-informed social work.

We already have content out there that would fit this: Rose Byrne’s Physical, Apple TV’s Shrinking, Oprah’s Supersoul Sunday, Glennon Doyle’s podcast- maybe even some select episodes of Gwenwth Paltro’s Goop. Elevated content with fresh stories and a lasting impact. This is Mission Driven Storytelling.  Taking pitches,  vetting and producing content created to heal.

We value the foundations of healing based in relational neuroscience, self compassion, neuroception, attachment theory, and research in relational dynamics. We have more research than ever to support the best ways to create new neural networks and heal trauma deeply, with long term results.

We have a growing problem with information quality control.

How do you know what’s reputable? The average person looking for help can have a hard time sorting through the thousands of Tiktok and instagram experts. We used to have newsrooms full of journalists double sourcing before publishing. Our information sources and entertainment continue to blend. All of these changes in the market lead to a growing problem with information quality control. What if Mission Driven Storytelling could be a stamp of accreditation, to help funnel the highest quality content in health and healing?

One story at a time.
